Pre/Post Natal Personal Trainer Certificate

How would you like to empower women to take charge of their health and the way they birth?

Price: $497.00

Did you know that you have the opportunity to assist women through their pregnancy keeping them physically fit, increasing their self-esteem, and greatly reducing the need of interventions during childbirth, as well as preparing their bodies for quicker recoveries?

You can enjoy a passionate career while earning a generous income and time to enjoy the life you want to live.  With approximately 323 births per minute in the world there is an endless pool of clientele.

With thousands of personal trainers in the world, competition can be fierce.  However, did you know that a personal training career is one of the fastest growing professions in the health and fitness industry?  According to the US Department of Labor, “Employment of personal fitnessprofessionals is expected to increase much faster than the average for all occupations through 2014”.

Working for a health club or gym offers both income and perks, but they typically take about half of your revenue.   Being your own boss allows flexibility, however, more responsibility.  Whether you prefer to be an employee or self employed, your career will be optimized with the Fit For Birth Prenatal Exercise Specialist Certification.

Today you may be a personal trainer or a new mom.  Maybe you just found out you are pregnant?  Maybe you are a childbirth educator, doula, lactation consultant or a “9 to 5er” looking for a new and rewarding career.  Relax and rest assured you are in the right place, no matter what your present occupation.

Fit For Birth Prenatal Specialists not only love their careers, they love their lives and the rewards of sharing the beautiful journey with each pregnant client.

Conception, pregnancy, and child birth are some of the rarest and most beautiful phenomena known to man, and because of the many physical, emotional, and hormonal changes occurring, it is necessary to become an expert regarding exercise and the effect it has on the pregnant body.

As a certified prenatal specialist you will interact with the pregnant client much more frequently than their health care provider.  For example, in the first and second trimester the pregnant mother may only see her health care provider once a month, whereas you will see her weekly, if not more often.  She will be coming to you with lots of “normal” pregnancy questions and complaints.  Although you are not her health care provider it is important that you know and understand the normal changes in the pregnant body and the usual complaints through each trimester as well as “red flags”.

The goal of the Fit For Birth Prenatal Certificate is to share our knowledge to give you professional tools and expertise to provide your pregnant clients with safe and effective exercise programs for both her and her baby.  At the same time, you have the opportunity to empower her to take control of her health and the vehicle she will choose to give birth.

The Fit For Birth Prenatal Exercise Specialist will provide you with the confidence to:

  • Design and implement safe and effective exercise programs, as well as alter them when needed. (one day a certain exercise may feel great, yet the very next day it may give your client heartburn or a feeling of discomfort)
  • Explain to your clients the benefits of exercise for both mom and baby.

Pre & Post Natal Exercise Specialist Testimonials

“I believe this course could help to change our birth culture by introducing the profound need for proper breathing and holistic Pre/postnatal fitness to prepare for birth/postpartum. We can support our clients to shift the epidemic of high rates of medicalized birth with its complications and postpartum depression.

As a massage therapist and personal trainer, I now have the tools to teach my clients to take care of their own health and prepare effectively for their pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. I can also now address issues like diastisis recti which many clients have suffered from with no support or tools to deal with or heal it. This course educates about the challenges of ‘modern birth’ but also empowers the students to see that natural birth can be prepared for. It provides tool to move forward to implement positive changes.”.

-Morgyn Danae (Miami, Fl) certified massage therapist and personal trainer

“I came to the seminar for purely selfish reasons with. The hope of becoming pregnant this year. After the first half of the first day I was already convinced that natural childbirth was my choice. Tremendous information that will absolutely change the course of my own pregnancy and now train my clients. Thank you for taking the fear away.”

-Sue Spinelli (Miami, Fl) Pilates Master Instructor

“The education James band Kim present is unparalleled to that of other courses. This course will give an open eyed approach to a modern pregnancy and give possibly new insight to natural birth. I learned how ‘we are what we do’ is directly related to the pregnant client, as well as her baby- and potentially her grandchildren.”

-Stacy Loveland (Miami, Fl) certified personal trainer

“I now feel I am knowledgeable to train a woman Pre/post natal. Learning about birth and labor and the toll it takes on not only the woman but the baby is mind blowing. I had some idea thanks to some psychology courses, but no class goes into this type of detail. Everyone should take this class. Not just trainers, but women who are pregnant and their partners.

The holistic approach to birthing a baby amazing. Incorporating the mind, body and spirit connection assists the woman and her baby throughout pregnancy and prepares them both for a peaceful labor day.”

-Veronica Sais (Miami, Fl) certified personal trainer

“This course has helped me understand the past and present birthing practices in the U.S. I gained an in depth knowledge of holistic health for expecting and new mothers. It has changed my perspective on training and life philosophy.”

-Amanda Weiner (Miami, Fl) certified personal trainer
